My main purpose of posting this message is to introduce to the Sangli.online.com Community, the hit U.S.television show, “Green Acres”. More specifically, I would like to tell the readers how the city of Nagpur, is really my “Green Acres”.
Green Acres is an American television series starring Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor as a couple who move from New York City to a country farm. Produced by Filmways, Inc., the series was broadcast on CBS from September 15, 1965, to April 27, 1971.
The theme song of Green Acres is as follows:
Green acres is the place to be.
Farm livin' is the life for me.
Land spreadin' out so far and wide.
Keep Manhattan, just give me that countryside.
